Days out in and around Snowdonia

If you already have accommodation booked in Snowdonia
Scenic Travel can offer you an infinite variety of excursions -
to castles, tourist attractions, gardens or simply to see the
countryside. You will be collected from your accommodation
and chauffeured in comfort, with the full knowledge that you
can change your plans for the day at any moment, stop whenever
you want, take more or less time at an attraction. There is no
timetable to follow and no schedule to adhere to. You're the boss!

Because Scenic Travel is based in Bath costs for days out in
Snowdonia are calculated on a different basis from similar
excursions in the Bath area. It is also essential to book at least
a couple of days in advance. If you are flying into the UK why
not consider a direct airport transfer to your hotel using Scenic Travel?
All transfers can incorporate stops at attractions or places of interest.

Basic Charges:
Single Day Excursion: £120
Two or more days: £100 per day
Seven days: £500

Prices include hire of the car, driver/guide, all mileage and fuel costs. Entry to attractions is extra.
Excursions can be custom-designed to suit your individual requirements but the following are some suggestions

The Lleyn Peninsula

The Lleyn PeninsulaA day spent exploring the
Lleyn Peninsula is likely to
provide a wealth of contrasts.
We stop first at Criccieth with
its castle perched on its mount
by the sea, then on through
the tiny village of lanystumdwy,
which contains the grave of
David Lloyd George as well as
a museum dedicated to his
memory. The 'Land's End' of
Wales lies some way beyond
the quaint villages of Abersoch and Aberdaron and offers wonderful views of Bardsey Island, the 'Isle of 10,000 Saints'. Later in the day,
if you are feeling energetic, the 50 minute climb to the Iron Age
hill fort of Tre' Ceiri will be one of the highlights of your holiday
in good weather with stunning views in all directions. Alternatively
the National Trust property of Plas Yn Rhiw is worth exploring.
Finally perhaps enjoy a relaxing drive up the blind valley of the
Cwm Pennant or over a spectacular gated mountain road!
